  • Harvesting (for firewood) of fallen Camel thorn Acacia erioloba trees on huge tracts of land around the Toteng/Sehitwa area
  • Commercial production, in collaboration with RAD communities, of:
    • Fruits and products of the Marula Sclerocarya birrea and the African Baobab Adansonia digitata and many other natural products with pharmaceutical properties endemic to this district
  • Opportunities to fulfill procurement needs such as consumables, fresh produce, etc. supply to tourism firms, large industry/companies, district and sub-district councils,Botswana Meat Commission (BMC), Maun and other parastatals
  • The sulphide mineral associated with the Gantsi formation and extending to the Ngamiland coal and in the Karoo Strata must be further investigated as a potential source for exportable cosmetic/costume jewellery.
